Visitor Visa

Foreign nationals can visit Canada on a temporary basis for various reasons including Family visit, Tourism, and Business visitor.

A visit visa is valid for 10 years or upto the expiry of the applicant’s passport. On each visit applicant can stay in Canada for upto six months after which they have to leave Canada or may apply for an extension of stay in Canada. There is no limit on number of extension of stay applications, however, the applicant need to justify their reason of extended stay in Canada. Granting a visitor visa is at the sole discretion of the consular officer who decides on the merits of the case that meet the criteria

Basic requirements to get a visitor visa:

• Have a valid travel document, like a passport.
• Have no criminal or immigration-related convictions.
• Be in good health.
• Have enough money for your stay.
• Purpose justification.
